Low-Carb Recipes

The Low-Carb Diet is a less extreme version of the keto diet.

What Is A Low-Carb Diet?

While the Keto Diet attempts to limit the carbs to a number that allows the body to remain in ketosis, the Low-Carb diet only attempts to reduce that number.

A Keto Diet typically limits the net carbs to 20 to 30 grams per day or 5% of the calorie intake.

A Low-Carb Diet, however, tends to limit the net carbs to 10%, which is typically between 40 grams and 60 grams per day.

In contrast, a regular diet contains about 40% of calories from carbs or 80 to 120 grams per day.

Are Low-Carb Recipes Keto?

Since Keto Recipes typically have less than 6 grams of net carbs per serving, while low-carb are more typically around 10 to 15 grams of net carbs, the terms are not interchangeable.

All Keto Recipes are compatible with a Low-Carb diet.

However, not all low-carb recipes are keto-friendly.

It’s really important to compare the net carbs.
